Ø A group of people gathered in the early 1990's. It was their wish to start a club for toy dog breeds. There were several All Breed Clubs located around the Houston, TX area but not many breed clubs and no ~ Toy Dog Club.
We have been AKC accredited since 1999.

Ø To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Toy Breed dogs;

Ø To urge members to accept the breed standard of their breed, as approved by the American Kennel Club, as the only standard of excellence by which a breed shall be judged;

Ø To do all in it's power to protect and advance the interests of dogs and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience and performance events;

Ø To conduct sanctioned matches, specialty shows and obedience trials under the rules of The American Kennel Club.
